Using
images in a Word Document by copying or inserting the file

from the ‘Edit’ menu or

When you are ready
to place the image , go to the ‘Insert’
menu, select ‘Picture from file’, then browse
through the directory structure until you find the folder
and image you want, then click on ‘Insert ‘
at the bottom right of the dialogue box. |
Using animations and videos in Word by inserting a
hyperlink.
Video files are usually huge – often 15MB or 20MB -
so you would not use ‘copy and paste’ to put a
file into a Word document. The easiest way to use animations
and videos is probably to create a hyperlink.
In order for the hyperlink to work, the file it links to must
be available somewhere on your computer, so unless you plan
to have the CD-ROM in the drive every lesson, you will need
to create a folder on your hard disk and copy the files you
want to use into it. (You will also need Macromedia Flash
installed on the computer to use these files).
You will then be ready to create your presentation: |
