P1.1 PRESSURE AND THE GAS STATE (1)
LINKS
A sample of a substance in the gas state has a pressure. It puts this pressure on the walls of its container.

Pressure is the force it puts on an area. Whenever a particle bounces off a wall, it exerts a force on the wall.

When you click 'Play' in the animation, the hits on the red sections each side are counted. Run this simulation five times, stopping each time when the first count reaches 50.

What do you notice?
