that the wax is solid but the change happens before
it gets this cold. |
Notes on Language Alert
The pop-up text is:
‘In everyday language we usually use the word freezing
to mean very cold because we associate it with ice. Here
we are using it in the scientific sense: freezing is not about
‘being cold’, it is about ‘cooling below
the melting
point’.
Freezing is the reverse of melting.’
